The burned and brushed texture give this Downtown Seattle condo an old world feel. The flooring is all the same color. Apparent color variation is a result of the herringbone pattern
We fabricated this solid R&Q white oak from lumber. This flooring is floated in over two layers of plywood, over radiant floor heat.
Hand buffing the paste wax is the final step in the making of the Versailles panels.
Engineered Versailles pattern floor was fabricated by SWW on Bainbrige Island. This is one of the most interesting flooring patterns, each 49" square panel has over 50 pieces. Burning and brushing give this floor it's unique character.

This flooring is made from the deck of the USS New Jersey battleship that was burned in battle. The teak deck was salvaged and re-sawn into flooring. We have refinished a few of these floors on Bainbridge Island.
